Church Groups
  1. Sunday School
Sunday School meets at 10:45am each Sunday Morning. We would love to see new faces joining our ranks on a Sunday morning. If your child is three or upwards you will find us in the Session room from about 10.45am. After the children leave church they all split into three groups to continue with the morning’s theme through stories, games and art and crafts.
  2. Woman's House Group
This group meets for 4 consecutive Monday Evenings from 8pm - 9.30pm three times a year. The 4 weekly blocks usually fall Jan/Feb, May/June, and Sept/October. The meetings have a very informal, friendly feel and we enjoy welcoming new faces.
  3. Mens Speaker Group
A bunch of like minded gents who enjoy meeting on a Thursday Evening once or twice a month to listen to interesting speakers and generally have a chat.
  4. Thursday Night Group
An informal group who meet fortnightly in the Session Room from September until March. The evening begins at 7.45pm (it's not surprising that most people arrive early for a chat), we have a cup of tea or coffee before the speaker begins. The topics are varied thanks to the many talented people who accept our invitation to come as our guest.
  5. Book Group
The very friendly informal Book Group meets every 6-8 weeks throughout the year. Most members take a turn to 'host' a meeting in their homes which starts about 7.30pm and usually ends by 9.30pm. Book titles are chosen by members and range from light holiday reading, detective thrillers, fiction throught to biographies and classical literature. Members enjoy getting to know both new authors and new friends. This is open to men and women
  6. Social Team
Being able to meet people at a social gathering is a great way to make new friendships and develop existing ones. We aim to have an active social life in the Parish Church. Events we have organised are Ceilidhs, Church Barbeques, Harvest Lunches, Themed Evenings and Burns Suppers. The hope is that we have a variety of social events that meet a variety of people's needs.
  7. Boys Brigade
The 28th Stirling Boys Brigade meets on a Wednesday and Friday evening. On a Wednesday evening our Anchor Boys (P1-P4) meet from 6.30pm until 7.45pm. Friday evenings it's the turn for both our Junior Section (p4-p6/7) and Company section (p6/7 to S4) from 7.15pm until 8.45pm.
